WAXING ETIQUETTE

Please arrive for your treatment clean and fresh, or I'll refuse to carry out your waxing.

HOW LONG DOES THE HAIR NEED TO BE?
Regardless of how you've been removing your hair, you should have at least 3 to 4 weeks growth to get the best results.
Any sooner and you could be wasting your money, waxing too soon will mean hair may start regrowing after just a few days. Be strong its worth the wait!

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
Everyone's different.   In most cases, you will see minimal regrowth during the first 3 weeks. Continued waxing encourages slower, sparser regrowth but it's not permanent.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BE WAXED?
If you're serious about maintaining that clean, smooth and sensuous feeling, I recommend that you initially come in every 4 to 5 weeks.  As time goes on you may be able to leave it longer between appointments.

WHY GET WAXED?
Men and women from all professions, backgrounds and ages get waxed... more than you would ever imagine.   The reasons range from it being cleaner, to it improving their love life as it heightens sensitivity (Result!!)

DOESNT IT REALLY HURT??!
Trust me!  You may have heard the horror stories about people being ripped to shreds by inexperienced therapists, but you're in safe hands with me.   I'm a proffessional waxer, trained by the best.... Kim Lawless UK Waxing Queen! and I use the best wax available (it really does make a difference).

HOW CAN I MAKE IT MORE COMFORTABLE
Man Up!! If you experience any discomfort, it really is for 2 seconds only as my technique is quick and over before you can say anything!
You can help yourself by trimming the hair before your appoinment!  Fact is that the longer the hair is, the more it will hurt.  If you've never been waxed before or you haven't been waxed for months, then just trim what you can (with scissors or clippers) to roughly half an inch (12mm).  If you've been removing the hair yourself, you should wait a few weeks before you get waxed as you'll bet a much better result.
FACT:  Shaved hair is much stronger and tougher to remove (and more painful), so step away from the razor.

AFTERCARE
For 24 hrs after you've been waxed, avoid sun, deodorant, really hot showers/baths, chlorinated pools, solariums, spas and saunas for 24hours as these will irritate the skin. Use a dry brush after two days, then two or three times a week after, but don't go mad as this actually causes ingrown hairs if you're too rough.  Keep your skin moisturised.  Dry brushing is when you take one of those wooden and bristle brushes that you can buy inexpensively from Boots, Supergrug, Body Shop etc.  As you're about to step into the bath or shower and when your skin is dry and the brush is dry, you gently but firmly brush all over the area you get waxed.  In fact it's great to do your whole body.  Then when you step out of the bath/shower and your skin is dripping wet, apply a small amount of baby oil all over the waxed area, then dry yourself with a towel.  You won't feel all greasy if you do it this way.

SERIOUS STUFF
If you're having Extreme Waxing, you'll need to get naked from the waist down to get a perfect wax, so no point being shy.  Please dont ask to keep your underwear on. After all you wouldnt wear a hat to get your hair cut would you!
I'm a wax therapist and NOTHING ELSE.  If your looking for a happy ending you'll be in the wrong place with me. So please don't let yourself down by saying or doing anything inappropriate.   If you do, I'll have no option than to hit the panic button and rally all the men in the building to eject you :)

FINAL THOUGHT
If you're serious about getting Extreme Waxing done, it really is worth the time and effort and money to get it done by an expert.  We are  talking about the most sensitive and valued part of your body.  So dont go to an amateur or you might find its not only corners that are cut....OUCH!
