All about the Intimate bits!
At Bella Beauty we offer both Warm and Hot wax for our intimate waxing treatments.
Warm wax is more commonly used and is removed with paper or fabric strips. Its quick to apply and remove and is more suited to sensitive skins due to its lower melting temperature.
Hot wax is melted to a higher temperature making it more effective at removing shorter coarse hairs this is because it relax's the tissues and as it sets it contracts around the hairs ensuring firm adhesion. You are also less likely to get ingrown hairs with Hot wax.
Your hair needs to be around 5mm long for the best results. We would advise that for your comfort you trim the hair slightly prior to your appointment.
So what are the differences??
Basic Bikini Line
Here is your introductory Bikini wax. Hair is removed from outside the knicker line no higher.
Higher Bikini
Like the Basic but just a bit higher! More commonly asked for during holiday times.
Brazilian
Sometimes called the landing strip! A strip of hair is left in the middle of the pubic area, around the labia and around the rear.
Box
Here we begin as with the brazilian but instead we remove the majority of the hair leaving a lower box shape. Also all the hair from the labia and perineum is taken much higher.
Hollywood
Sometimes called the Sphinx. Total Hair removal from the pubic and anal regions. We recommend that you experience at least a brazilian before going all the way!
Las Vegas
As per the Hollywood except we pretty it up with what is now more commonly known as a vajazzle (a pattern of bikini gems temporarily glued to the skin)
