I had beautiful lashes done today by the lovely Karen at Luscious Lashes. Very impressed in about 1 hour 40 i had a lovely full set of lash extensions no visible glue, no itching or pulling. I shall be having them infilled but might just do this once in a while do to my busy schedule, she says!! I know by the morning i wont be able to live without them or the relaxation of having to lie with your eyes closed for quite a time! lush!! Thanks karen! (shes busy mind!!) |

We recently ran a Living Social deal and my goodness what a success! I was thrilled to see at the end of the 24 hour period we had sold 190 Massages brilliant start for laura our new Massage Therapist and hopefully an introduction to Bella beauty for 190 new clients! If you havent yet looked on the Living Social website then I can highy recommend it. Suppliers of the daily deals have to discount by at least 50% and you will be alerted to offers only in your city postcode area so no traveling miles for a bargain! |

Ever wondered what actually happens when you book in for a Back Sack and Crack??? We are fortunate that one of our recent clients took a amatuer video of his appointment with us, we shall call him Mr G for privacy purposes. Mr G has been involved in various weekly challenges for charity this year and has been undertaking some pretty unusual tasks! As you can imagine many of these were chosen by his "friends" I use that term loosely! Mr G has kindly given permission for us to post this as a link on our website. |

This week i have been having a play with a fantastic new product I have found calledGellux. Gellux is a paint on Gel overlay which is kind of like a varnish but you cure it under UV or LED light. The great thing about gellux is that islasts 15 daysor longer judging by what some people have reported. I have had experience of some of the high end top leading names in Gel in the past and have always found that I have had lifting and peeling on my nails. My daughter and I have both had our clear Gellux on for 7 days so far with no adverse effects so far. |

I recently listened to a programme about Women in business trying to juggle there growing business with there growing up children. It really struck a cord with me as I started retraining as a therapist when my daughter was only 4. She has grown up with me always having ladies at the house in the evenings or since i have had premises, "always" being out to work. I wanted desperately for her to see that when Mummys and Daddys divorce it doesnt mean that we all have to go and live in a flat somewhere and eat value bread. |

Wow havent we been soooo busy this week with Reiki!! Becca from Balance healing is currently offerring 30 mins trial of Reiki for an amazing £10!! Last week I had a very interesting meeting with Chrissy Kellaway fromwww.chrissykellaway.co.uk one of the interesting bits of advice that Chrissy gave me was to make full use of all the free business advertising sites there are available. In particular Free index. So I have taken heed and been very busy plugging our presence on this site. It is a great way to promote your business and to tender quotes for services that you offer. So far this week by sharing my link on Facebook and to my email contacts list of clients I have managed to raise my presence to No 20 out of 1360 salons registered! |

I recently attended a networking lunch where the guest speaker asked us all to tell him how we measure our success? Going round the table most of us said money, cars even shoes (that was me though!) The talk he gave was very thought provoking and this week I have done alot of thinking about the way I work. So this weekend my success started when I took Friday off to meet with a friend for a one to one and discuss Marketing (something I have thought about for ages!) I then had my hair done. |
